Things to Do This Week (August 15th – 21st, 2017)

With the summer nearing its end, it’s time to get out and enjoy what we have left of this beautiful weather. Below are some noteworthy events happening this week in the Greater Boston area. Enjoy!

 

Wednesday 8/16

Boston Grown-Ups Museum

Ever wanted to visit Boston Children’s Museum…without the children? Race to the top of the three-story Climb, build a towering fortress, blow a giant bubble, and remember what it’s like to be a kid? Now is your chance! 21+ only. Tix $25 per person.

 

Thursday 8/17

After Work Social’s Networking Mixer

Network and socialize with some of Boston’s most talented professionals. There will be free appitizers and continuation of their Networking exclusive, “Fast Track Networking.” Tix $5-$10 per person.

 

Friday 8/18

Hippea Hour @ Bone Up Brewing

Head over to the booming Fermentation District, where Hippeas USA will be sampling several delicious flavors of chickpea puffs, ranging from Sriracha to white cheddar, and giving out swag from 6-9pm. Snacks and delicious beer! Free.

 

Saturday 8/19

Brew at the Zoo

This beer-tasting event offers guests an opportunity to walk on the wild side as they sample offerings from local breweries and restaurants. The entire zoo (weather-permitting) will be open for this event and proceeds support the operation and continued growth of Zoo New England. 21+ only. Tix $60-$100 per person.
